Well it is for me, as I love talking and seeing opinions no matter how much we agree or disagree. Anyone with a modicum of sense would see I pointing out how sunjective it all is. McMillan said DMac is their ten. He would've been on the bench but for injuries. So he'll be ten most of the year, beaudy won't. Beaver had pointed out that beaudy looks like a fifteen playing ten, and he should know. And I hate to agree with Marshall but his point that wanting every player to be able to play multiple positions is detrimental to the player in many positions eg front row, nine, and ten

I actually think Marshall’s analysis isn’t so bad when he is away from the commentary role .

Look, I love Beaudy to bits, but he is not the player he was a few years ago. For me, DMac should be the locked in 10 for the ABs; he's one of the few who creates with pass and pace. Mo'unga wsa getting better, but after 4 years in the jersey you'd expect more from him. And who knows how he comes back from Japan. He never really delivered at Test level in the 10 jersey.
I've been over BB for some time and not sure Richie is/was consistently a better 10 than DMac.
I was among DMac's biggest detractors on this site and even I've come around to the firmly held belief he's matured into our best option.

And one of the things we need to look for this year is how well Robertson and co. develop options at 10 to back him up. Needs to look for newer talent and not harp on about RM or see BB as anything other than a short-term option.

the same places think A Savea was basically the best player in black last year. I am convinced most people don't even watch games, they just watch a few highlights and parrot talking points of 2-5 years ago.

DMac showed his class on the weekend. I expect him continue to demonstrate he is best in show at 10 in NZ right now. It is up to Razor to put him in the best position to succeed in black now, that is all on him. I want to see him change the formation and the gameplan to bring the best out of 10, 12, 13
