Can anyone remember the All Blacks giving up before?

In nearly forty years of watching the team I can't.

No. I thought at 29-10 they would at least try to get the last score. Instead…capitulation.

Maybe they had no energy left

It’s actually rage inducing just how pathetic that team was. How weak, stupid, and arrogant they are.

A hooker that doesn’t realise he can’t throw a ball into the lineout? What the fuck is he doing at training?

Props that’s can’t scrum against a threat they’ve known about for 8-10 years? I mean what do our props even do? Practice offloading all pre season? Why the fuck aren’t they bigger, stronger, and technically better?

Why the fuck are our locks, with the exception of Barrett, fucking bean poles? It’s all well and good being able to pass really nicely out the back, but put some muscle on and get some strength and put your fucking shoulder in? Does Va’ai just practice slapping and Holland has his head so far up his own Dutch PR hype arsehole?

Does Savea want to spend more time on social media fucking around than learn to clean a ruck and tackle a player without jumping in the second man and try to pull off a hero effort?

Can Christie, who has 20 odd caps and how many knows super rugby caps, learn to fucking pass and make a decision without fucking around?

Beauden? Is there any thing else to say?

Why is Jordie Barrett, who looks like a stretch out midget, still not packing on a few more kilos of muscle and working on what a 12 is supposed to do, which is bend the fucking line and make line breaks?

Can Proctor learn to tackle and open up a defense that isn’t a second rate Kiwi/Aussie super rugby side?

Wings can’t catch a fucking thing. Why is a midget like Carter, who got exposed so fucking terribly in the super rugby final in the air, selected?

Why the fuck can’t Jordan stop being an absolute bellend with everything that isn’t scoring tries?

I'd just like to see serious negativity being brought back into NZ rugby, from the journos, coaches and hard on themselves never satisfied players.

Need a caretaker coach. Anyone would be better. Take one of the Super Rugby management teams.

Depending on the availability, need big changes for next game:

              1 Norris
              2 Taylor
              3 Newell
              4 Tuipulotu
              5 Holland
              6 Parker
              7 Papalii
              8 Sotutu

              9 ?
              10 DMac
              11 Clarke
              12 J Barrett
              13 R Ioane
              14 ?
              15 Love

              16 Taukei'aho
              17 Williams
              18 Tosi
              19 Vaa'i
              20 Savea
              21 ?
              22 Tupaea
              23 Jordan

Far too much throwing out the baby with the bathwater here.

Dropping Sititi and Vaa'i, who were NZ's two best players last year and are in still in good form this year, is mad. Tuipulotu has about five good games for NZ in however many seasons he's played and while I'd love to see him back on the beach to add impact, it's a hail Mary play to expect him to pick him ahead of Vaa'i or even Barrett.

So many complaints that the loosies weren't hitting rucks but you'd bring in Sotutu to fix that?

Norris is excellent in the loose but he's certainly the worst of the looseheads we have in the squad at scrum time and I know NZ wouldn't be playing SA again for the next match but given how much the scrum has been monstered lately, Norris is certainly not the answer.

Who would you bring in Duluth?
Not sure if Joe Schmidt (if it's true he can't work with current NZRFU) would come in, but he must be 1st choice.
Then Jamie Joseph, Vern Cotter, others?

Joseph, Brown and Rennie/Filippo. Schmidt as an advisor.

Sititi is certainly having a bit of second year dip, but it's to be expected, especially given his injury and the fact that he wasn't actually that good on his return. He's not a super worker style 8, so I'm not sure what they are trying to achieve by playing Savea and Sititi together.

He gets a bit of shit on here, but when you look at the Chiefs and what makes the Chiefs click as a loose forward unit, it is Luke Jacobson as the common element.

He didn't play in the loss to the Blues and was clearly concussed in the final versus the Saders. When he was at 7, the balance was about right. When he was out, we lacked starch. It seems like the AB coaches haven't figured that - and many many other things - out yet.

Edit: This isn't to suggest that we need LJ, just to suggest that they aren't achieving balance.

I didn't think it was a bad performance, personally.

Don't think the All Blacks had many issues in the forwards outside of the set-piece.

@gt12 Papalii is a vastly better player than Jacobson, who has failed every time he has played test rugby. Great player for the Chiefs, but crazy that he is in the squad. Much better than Kirifi though.

All Kirifi does is pull his pants up to show off his massive thighs he doesn't have and bang his chest to impress the social media crowd with his 'passion'.

Surely we can move on from him now?

                                    Agreed.

                                    Lalomilo Lalomilo would be better.

Hold on, I'm not arguing for LJ - I'd have Papalii there too.

My point is that they still don't have balance and don't seem to be able to see how to reach it.

@gt12 Fair enough! Jacobson is a good example of balancing a trio then.

@Mr-Fish That was our worst ever loss, and our forwards were completely dominated in the 2nd half. Not consistent with reality.

We're NZ's forwards dominated outside of the set piece?

SA built a good lead, NZ didn't know how to respond and then when they got too far behind started getting far too loose (and frankly looked like they'd given up, which is a bigger concern). Throw in the missed line outs, the scrum penalties and the high ball issues, and that's why it was NZ's biggest ever loss.
