When Sititi had his breakout season I thought ok, they're training someone to replace Ardie and move Ardie to 7 to replace Cane just don't know who their 6 is (perhaps it was initially supposed to be EB or Luke J).
But the loosies have gone backwards and I don't see what their plans are..

Any semi-astute observer (including all our opposition) will have latched onto this.
Once a group of directors get an idea into their head they've found a magic bean, it's hard for them to let go. Too much capital invested in the bean before they've bought it.

@Victor-Meldrew I'm optimistic but Kirk. I think he's very able and quietly ruthless. Hopefully, he'll get rid of the bullshitters and the duffers in NZR one by one.
That said I was optimistic about Scott Robertson and look how that turned out.......
