@duluth I have a lot of "what ifs" about Tiaan Falcon. What if he hadn't had so many injuries? What if he hadn't been stuck behind Dmac and had more game time at the Chiefs? What if he hadn't gone to Japan? He was a top talent for NZ U20s, but couldn't stay injury free.

I wish at least one of Sullivan and Plummer would go somewhere they can play 10 consistently as I see the most potential in them. Trask has not come on yet. Love needs a bit more time to build his influence on a game. Don't think Hunt or Josh will get any better.

You gotta love the people that decry the current playing squad as vastly inferior to years gone past but have obviously just memory blocked that era where Weepu, Cowan and Ellis were the best halfbacks in the country.

I think our talent isnāt so bad ,
But from the outside looking in , our overall leadership doesnāt look as strong , well compared to the mccaw era anyway
Has a similar feel to the early 2000s to me , talent pool looks ok , not convinced yet on direction , but that could change , just unconvinced

@kiwiinmelb I think it's more the coaching team still haven't imposed a discernable style or plan yet, we are seeing glimpses but guess the disruptions are.affecting the ability to get some consistency

Yeah Iām prepared to get behind them , even with those doubts
I mean wanting them to succeed is more beneficial than the other way around to me , I donāt see the point in wanting them to fail so you can say told ya so

Or maybe they have and you havenāt seen it?
Did Eddie show everyone the game he took England into the semi with? No. He put the pieces in place for that game though.
I think we would be dumb to go away from our natural way of playing at speed and reading what is in front of us. Then we need to grow the experience to read what the opposition is bringing and adjust quickly. Thatās what we have failed on in the past.
