The good news for any Blues players who don’t make the ABs is that they can go and transform English Rugby instead.

@Chris It will formally be named in December at the ASB Rugby awards, but Hoskins is probably the favourite for it.

@MN5 Hoskins Sotutu could well be playing for England or Fiji by the next World Cup and Akira Ioane for Japan. I wouldn't be surprised if Vern Cotter gets an international coach gig as well.

@KiwiMurph I'm not sure why Bower would be there, we can carry 5 props as Ofa & Tamaiti cover both sides, definitely think we need 4 locks incase S Barrett or Patrick were to get injured in the lead upto a Test

again, this has always happened, although favorites probably not right, more that the coaches see things a bit different when trying to build thier team.

Yep and the coaches know the players a lot better than the public and will think they can get the best out of whoever they select.

If the rumoured squad is true it's basically what you would do if you named a squad without having to make a tough decision.
