I've been a Foster as coach critic but I've also said as a team manager type he seems to have been quite popular with the players. And as more a coach-manager than a strategy / tactics coach .. oh well, we'll never know now.

Quite a lot of Squidge over-excitement, but we often kicked without sizing up what was in front of us, and a handful of instances where almost entire pack folded one side of ruck leaving other side woefully under-defended.

Not sure if a system thing but I'd not noticed that in other games.

scrum halves passing to static ball carriers instead of in front of them is one of the most confusing things to me. when I played it was one of the first things we were taught when passing from the ruck to generally always pass in front and basically never to the man. so weird how professionals still get that wrong so often
