Jordie was bloody good again, making great yards on his carries
Reckon it's worth keeping him at 12?
Lol would be crazy to move him.
Whoosh!

Truth be told JB would probably do at least as well at 10 as Beauden and Mckenzie. With a bit of time in the saddle his kicking for field position could be a real weapon. Especially combined with a lineout including Holland, Tuipulotu/Darry, and Vaa'i.

Very few, if any, have mentioned our defence, so I assume people are happy with it? Me, I think it is still a weak point. When the French got into a position to score they either did or they came bloody close. It seemed inevitable that our line would be crossed. It reminded me of the Irish in NZ a few years ago.

@Crazy-Horse It was better than last week, but still a key area of weakness.

@brodean Doesn't matter.
Doesn't the first error/infringement take priority except in foul play? After he loses control of the ball forward its advantage All Blacks.
It was both the wrong call and the right call. Be thankful.

Second half they seemed to gain easy metres too many times.

After years of kiwis criticising 10 man old school English rugby you want to emulate it?!
I joke, it is good to able to execute it when required!Nb I just realised you left out a lock/captain there...

Definitely a time and place for territory kicking, we don't utilise it much at all. And when we do it, we generally don't do it well

The defense improved for the duration of the first half.
The following quote probably applies on attack and defence. This quote was made after the All Blacks lost to the Pumas. The backline was JB, ALB, Tele'a and Reece. The following week against SA they picked Rieko, and Clarke over ALB and Reece.
Quote from Victor Matfield last year:
“I went through that whole game on Monday afternoon. I rewound it, forwarded it, I really went through that game and when they were under pressure, I looked back at the days when the All Blacks were really scary,” he said on Final Whistle Presents Side Entry on SuperSport. “The one thing they always had were athletes that were better than other teams. Their backline players were bigger and faster than other teams. They don’t have it. “If I look at the All Blacks backs, they don’t have better athletes than any other team. If you compare them against South Africa, if you give our wingers the one-on-one, our wingers will be better. “If you give our centres a go, our centres will be better than theirs. You’ve never had that. There’s no Tana Umaga, there’s no Ma’a Nonu, there’s no Jonah Lomu, there’s no Christian Cullen. They don’t have that at the moment.”

Matfield didn't mention we don't have a Dan Carter either?

Matfield, an excellent player, and he can say whatever he thinks is the case, but hard to take what he says objectively when he still says….
