Samipeni Finau - Fit. Certain to be involved.
Fabian Holland - Fit. Certain to be involved.
    Luke Jacobson - Injured.
Du'Plessis Kirifi - Fit. Coaches clearly love his attitude.
Tyrell Lomax - Injured, but will be back to play SA.
Fletcher Newell - Fit. Certain to be involved.
Ollie Norris - Fit. Obviously someone they like.
Ardie Savea- Fit. Certain to be involved.
Wallace Sititi - Injured, but likely to be back for RC.
Samisoni Taukei'aho - Fit. Certain to be involved.
Codie Taylor - Fit. Certain to be involved.
Patrick Tuipolutu - Some niggles, but likely to be involved.

    Backs

Jordie Barrett - Fit. Certain to be involved.
Beauden Barrett - Injured, but likely to be back for RC.
Caleb Clarke - Injured. Unlikely to be back until October.
Noah Hotham - Injured. Out until September at least.
Reiko Ioane- Niggles, but likely to be involved.
Will Jordan - Niggles, but likely to be involved.
Damian McKenzie - Fit, certain to be involved.
Billy Proctor - Fit, obviously done enough to impress the coaches.
    Cortes Ratima - Injured.
Sevu Reece - Fit, likely to be involved.

Leicester should be straight back in the squad. He killed it in France at centre and is better than all of our current wings.

    He was pants against Lions.

My guess on a possible 23 to play Argentina.

De Groot, Taylor, Newell, S. Barrett, Holland, Vaii, Savea, Sititi, Roigard, B. Barrett, Ioane, J Barrett, Proctor, Reece, Jordan

Bench: Taukei'aho, Norris, Williams (can play both sides), Tuipolutu or Finau, Kirifi, Ratima, McKenzie, Tupaea.

Flat no to Tamaiti at TH. Give him time off bench at LH.

Wilco Louw is an old fashioned destroyer at TH for Boks. TW went exceptionally well against Malherbe, who is a tall TH. Louw is about 2 1/2 inches shorter and built, so AB LHs will have theirs hands full. In fact, for Boks games I’d probably looks for Bower to be third LH. His mauling also a significant bonus.

Any update on Peter Lakai? I'd have thought if he's fit, he'll be in the RC squad.

I'm not going to base him much off a shit invitational side who got on the piss 2/3 times during the week of.

Plus he had the unfortunate task of playing outside David Havili that day.

So, what's going on with Ethan Blackadder, David Havili and Hoskins Sotutu?

In the coach's plans? Not in the coach's plans? Working on their impact on both sides of the ball?

Well Sotutu and Havili aren't in ABs, so don't need to be released as such.

The coaching in France must be amazing for him to have improved that much.

If you didn't watch any of his 40+ games for Toulon then just say so.

Yep I watched a lot of them the ones I watched he was very good at centre,It will be interesting where he ends up wing or centre for both the Crusaders and ABs.

Razor made a comment when he had signed to leave and when fozzie was still ab coach , along the lines of,

Big loss , plays as a wing now but Has the potential to be a nonu or umaga type if he switches to the midfield,
so it seems unless he has changed his mind,he likes him as a potential midfielder.

In a radio interview, havilli was asked did the coaches give him anything he needs to work on,

He replied , no they said we already know what you can do but we need to have a closer look at some other players .

    Hold on.

    Leicester didn't play the Lions

He played the Boks outside PUJ for the Barbarians

It was Laumape who played 13 outside Havili vs Lions

@KiwiMurph correct. My mistake. Getting confused with the Barbarians seeing as they’re both shit invitational sides.

If you swipe right on the below post Lakai looks to have put on a bit of size since his Canes injury, looks in great nick. He’s training with the Lions so hopefully he runs out on Saturday.

Does anyone know if Tangitau is back training with Auckland? Or still on the sidelines?

Auckland posted a video a couple of weeks ago of their bronco test. Tangitau was only watching from the sidelines with some other injured players

If Lakai is to come in, surely that's a direct swap for Du'Plessis?

Yep, I wouldn't be too displeased with that tbh. At 22, Lakai is already more suited to test level IMO and he will only develop even further. However, I can't see them dropping Dupes so Lakai might have to wait until an injury strikes.

Is it safe to assume those that were named as “Unavailable due to injury” vs France will be straight back in the squad once healthy?

Which was Aumua, Tu’ungafasi, Darry, Lakai & Perofeta.

I think it's case by case

Aumua I can see coming back in but I cannot see Perofeta coming in unless injury opens up a chance

All ABs should be playing NPC this weekend bar anyone carrying an injury. Play you lazy fucks, it's what you are paid to do. they've just had a fortnight off, and then it's another fortnight to the next test.

That's true. There wasn't anything compelling in his play against the Boks at 13.
