At home for Argentina. The games are over there this year and looks like they haven't beaten us on their home ground.

They beat the Lions so if their best players like Albernoz are around they will target their maiden win against us on their home soil.

They lost twice to a lion-less England side

    @DaGrubster

They were missing a bunch of their best players against England including Albernoz. It was effectively a couple of development games for them.

They beat the Lion's a month ago. They beat the Springboks September last year in Argentina. They beat us in Wellington. They shouldn't be underestimated.

Didn’t they also put 60ish on Aussie at home? The Argies are a bit like the French, if they turn up we’ll be in for a real fight.

    I dont underestimate them.

But England beat them twice without their 10 best players

Contempomi rested more than 10 players from the England series:

Gonzalo García, Tomás Albornoz, Joaquín Oviedo, Franco Molina, Joel Sclavi, Mateo Carreras, Bautista Delguy, Juan Cruz Mallía, Santiago Chocobares, Efraín Elías, Guido Petti, Gerónimo Prisciantelli, Ignacio Calles, Eduardo Bello, Ignacio Ruiz, Marcos Kremer.

Not suggesting that they had more firepower out than England, but it was far from a full-strength team.

    On the Fainga'anuku sitch:

New Zealand Rugby has told The Post that Fainga’anuku isn’t available for the Rugby Championship, due to the amount of time he has spent away from New Zealand and the fact that he was only 24 years old when he took up the contract with Toulon. NZ Rugby requires players to have built up a record of long service before they can go overseas and immediately come back into the All Blacks frame upon returning to New Zealand.

So basically the policy is whatever they want it to be on the day.

I think Hotham may go past ratima , to me it just looks like his execution is crisper .

Leicester should be straight back in the squad. He killed it in France at centre and is better than all of our current wings.

Rugby Pass is reporting that Leicester won't get an exemption for TRC unless we are decimated by injuries

From what I heard from someone at the Waikato club final, it sounds like the ABs might need two new halfbacks for the Arg leg. Hotham had surgery and Ratima has a high ankle sprain so out for a few weeks.

Roigard to play 80 mins, but who will we see brought into the squad? Christie, Fakatava, Roe and Preston are all possibilities.

Christie might be viewed as the safe option, given his experience but it’d be a wasted selection. He won’t be at the World Cup, he’ll come off the bench and add nothing and there’s an opportunity here to see what other players have to offer if they get an opportunity.

Send Fakatava. I want to see what impact he can bring off the bench

The coaching in France must be amazing for him to have improved that much.

At least as good as the coaching in Ireland.

We went 2 years ago, AB’s test in BA, spent a week there

Ate our body weights in beef, drank all the wine.

    People were amazing.

    Couldn’t recommend more highly

Looked nothing of the sort for the Barbarians vs the Boks at centre and would do nothing for the ABs team speed at wing.
